FAQS

What To Expect at Shiloh

What kind of church are you?

Shiloh is a non-denominational Christian Church. For a better understanding of some of our specific beliefs, visit the “What We Believe” section

What do people usually wear?

We are pretty casual. You will see everything from t-shirts and jeans to khakis and dress shirts but wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

What if I am not sure about this Jesus thing?

Everybody starts their journey somewhere. Regardless of where you are or what you believe, please come and check us out. And of course feel free to contact us at any time if you have questions.

What types of programs do you have for my kids?

As we are meeting in home churches now, the experience with kids will vary between homes. We encourage children to be a part of worship and then can be dismissed to play within individual homes, but it is up to the discretion of the parents.

What does a typical Sunday morning look like?

Sunday mornings are a highlight of the week for us! We meet in designated host homes each Sunday, sometimes with breakfast before or lunch after. We then spend a time of worshiping together, a time of teaching, and then a time of communion together.

Will I be asked for money while I’m there?

We want giving to be something we do out of our appreciation for what God has done for us and our trust in Him that He is the provider of everything. We do show an informational slide at the end of each video with information on how to donate, but we don’t “pass the plate” and you will not be directly ask to give.
